A few weeks ago, I did a post on the renovation design of a Homewood, AL house that caught fire. We were able to go yesterday and take updated detail photos. There is still a little bit of work to be completed, so we will have a final post in a couple of months that will showcase the finished product. In the meantime, here are a few detail pictures of the work to-date.
A close friend of the homeowner, Todd Wilson, is helping to complete the construction. He is highly skilled in woodworking, metal fabrication, instillation (resume probably also contains ex-pro arm wrestler, Kung-Fu master, bear whisperer). Here are just a handful of the applications Todd added to the home.
Custom iron and metal bridge connecting outdoor entertaining area to pool over existing draining canal on the property.
Iron and metal catwalk to main house second floor to outdoor terrace and apartment over the detached garage.
Staircase from main level to second floor terrace.
The renovation is really coming together. Let us know what you think and check back for an updated post soon. Thanks so much for reading!
