Interior Design: Weekend Reading

By Jessica Furniss, April 17, 2015 | In Home Design |

I don’t know about you, but I love my weekends. It is an opportunity to do all the things I was unable to do during the week. A time to relax, get outside and catch up on fun reading. If I am not careful I can spend hours reading about Interior Design; not to mention staring at the gorgeous photos! So, today I want to share 3 of my current favorite posts. I hope you will add them to your weekend reading list!

1. Cary Nowell: Time To Build
The Power of Rearranging in Interior Design

Time to Build is a fantastic multi-faceted blog about everything home. This particular post by Cary Nowell is great motivation to have you ready to rearrange a few things in your home (or at least enjoyable reading for your weekend). I love Cary’s simplistic, creative approach to improving a space.blog.houseplans.com

2. Taste The Rainbow: Houzz

This website is an incredible tool for homeowners. Houzz is an interactive website about interior design, home renovation, home design, landscaping and more. This particular article is all about how color can effect the look and feel of a room. It is very fun, light reading. I am exceptionally fond of this lovely blue they feature in this bedroom.

3. Room of The Day: Houzz

This next post also comes to you from Houzz. This is such a great story of an office that also functions as a living room. The designer was able to combine a quiet work space and a social gathering spot in a fantastic way.
