Tip: As the seasons begin to change, try decorating for fall instead of Halloween and Thanksgiving specifically. Using a more general theme of fall leaves, pumpkins (no faces), orange, gold, and brown palettes, your decor can last from now until the end of November.
Skip the jack-o-lanterns and ghosts, ditto for the turkeys and pilgrims, and try using nature as your inspiration. You’ll find it looks much more elegant and natural and less themed. Do however, remember the big bowl of candy or your name will be mud with the trick-or-treaters.
